The Club took part in NAFAS Golden Fanfare Week (25-31 January 2009). Members manned a stall in Tesco, Kirkcaldy, where Isobel Wotherspoon created a lovely golden arrangement that was then taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy for the remainder of the week. Smaller arrangements were made by other members and displayed in Kirkcaldy Library and the Adam Smith Centre.

The above photograph shows our Chairman, Avril Moodie, with the main arrangement.

At our meeting on 9 March 2009 Anne Cant, a trainee demonstrator and a member of Kirkcaldy club, gave a very entertaining an informative demonstration of "Memories". She depicted styles and told stories from the 1960s to the present day and the attached photograph shows her version of the 60s Knickerbocker Glory!
